Abstract:

Organizations invest heavily in project plans, communication plans, and training plans, yet many transformation initiatives still struggle to achieve lasting adoption. The missing element isn't another process or methodology. It's understanding the human operating system that drives how people experience change.

In this interactive session, Julie Ann Whitten introduces The People Stack, a practical framework from her new book that helps change practitioners identify and address the human factors that influence adoption. Participants will explore how trust, clarity, alignment, capability, belief, and sustainment work together to shape change outcomes and learn how to diagnose where adoption is breaking down before resistance becomes entrenched.

Through real-world examples, audience interaction, and practical tools, attendees will leave with a framework they can immediately apply to improve stakeholder engagement, strengthen adoption strategies, and increase the likelihood of sustainable change.
