Sept 2026 Evening Meeting "PMO Reimagined - A Customer-Centric Journey to Certification and Impact” feat Alex Marques

Abstract:
The Project Management Office (PMO) is evolving. As organizations increasingly look to PMOs to drive strategic value—not just project oversight—today's PMO professionals must rethink how they measure success, demonstrate impact, and align with organizational objectives.
Join Alex Marques, Head of PMO at XIUS Corp and PMI-PMOCP, for an engaging discussion on the future of PMOs. Drawing on the PMO Value Ring™ Framework, insights from the PMI PMO Practice Guide, and lessons from the State of the PMO 2025 report, Alex will explore how modern PMOs are transforming from governance functions into strategic value enablers.
Whether you currently work in a PMO, lead one, or are interested in advancing your PMO career, you'll gain practical insights into today's evolving PMO landscape and learn about the growing importance of the PMI-PMOCP™ certification.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the PMO Value Ring™ Framework and its role in evaluating and strengthening PMO performance.
- Understand how the PMI PMO Practice Guide is reshaping modern PMO thinking.
- Identify the value and career benefits of the PMI-PMOCP™ certification for PMO professionals.
